Ushers & Greeters:

The Ushers and Greeters Ministry was begun with the belief that service to each other is an integral part
of a healthy Congregation.  The individuals that play an active role in this ministry are proud to be called
door men in the house of the Lord.

The program contains two main groups.  The
Ushers themselves are familiar figures in most
Congregations.  They are known mainly for their role in collecting tithes but these men do much more than
this.  They are there to serve the people.  Never hesitate to ask any of them any question that you might
have.  If they don’t have the answer they will find someone who does.

The
Greeters are not as familiar as the Ushers but play one of the most important roles in the
Congregation.  The Greeters are members of good standing in the Congregation.  Their only purpose is to
greet new comers and insure that they have the opportunity to ask questions and to generally make it
known to any visitor that they are welcome in this Congregation.
